These wristlet style handbags are made using my handwoven fabric, lined with a cream cotton twill and finished with a antique bronze zip. I hand make the wrist straps using a technique called macrame.
All the fleeces from my sheep are processed in Cornwall. The chocolate brown yarn is the natural colour of my Castlemilk Moorit sheep and the cream is from my Portland sheep, the turquoise (also from my Portlands), is dyed organically at the mill for me. After my their fleeces are processed into a yarn perfect for making woven fabric, it goes to a wonderful, nostalgic weaving shed on Dartmoor where the fabric for these wristlet bags is made on a small handloom.
