Rafter Jumper in Raspberry
The Rafter Jumper in Raspberry combines my organically dyed raspberry and heather yarns with the natural ecru of my Portland sheep. It offers a relaxed box fit, sitting just below the hips for a flattering shape. Colour contrasting rib detail to the cuffs and hem, and a big soft roll neck for snuggling into when it’s super cold.
The larger block patterns in this jumper are created using a knitting technique called intarsia which requires patience and careful hand finishing. My garments are all made using the traditional knitting process of fully fashioning - this where each piece of the garment is knit separately and then sewn together by hand.
All of my knitted products are designed, handmade and finished in my Cotswolds studio by my own hands. I use a hand powered knitting machine - no electricity or machine power is involved. The wooden tags sewn onto each piece to mark the unique Loopy Ewes provenance, are made for me in Devon on FSC certified wood. No solvents are used in their printing and I hand sew them onto each product using organic cotton thread. This is slow fashion at its best.

The best way to choose the right size is to measure an existing jumper with a fit you love and compare against the dimensions above.
As each garment is handmade measurements may vary slightly.
Wool has natural self-cleaning properties. Try airing after use to avoid unnecessary washing. When it is time for a wash, I recommend washing by hand, separately in cool water using an environmentally safe wool detergent. Dry flat and out of direct sunlight.
