Chunky Woollen Spun Yarns
Nothing keeps your mind and hectic hands feeling focused and relaxed like the rhythmic movement of knitting so its a pleasure to be able to share some of my yarns with knitters passionate about yarn provenance. I'm not looking to add yarns into my product range so it's a one-off to make these available.
Each 100g skein of yarn is produced soley with the wool from my flock of rare breed sheep, grazing in a regnerative, 100% pasture fed system. The yarn was woollen spun from my 2020 wool clip, by the Natural Fibre Company in Cornwall.
The mocha is from my Castlemilk Moorit sheep. Their beautiful chocolate coloured fleece bleaches on the tips in the sun, so when it is spun it creates a rich, multi-tonal yarn. The ecru is the natural colour from my Portland sheep and is the base for the other colours, which have all been dyed to GOTS organic standards by Paintbox Textiles in Yorkshire.
